Why is my 1995 ford escort stalling.

I have a 1995 Ford Escort. IV
replaced my throttle body sensor,
cleaned out the sensors and found a
hole in one of the hoses and fixed it.
Even after doing all of that, so my car
will crank up, and then it will be fine
for a second, then the check engine
light come on then the car just shuts
off. We still haven't looked through all
the hoses, but what could possibly
be the problem. Wer thinking it's got
to be something to do with air.
Please help me out thanks

The engine light is telling you something,go have it checked,but it sound,s to me that is a fuel problem,may be fuel relay or pump.
