I have 740il with 4000 cc. I changed the engine only to 3000 cc v8. But the power horse reduced . But their is same car 2800cc with good power horse.. shall I change other part????

when you say horse reduced you mean hp output? 2800cc is a six cylinder engine, you will have to change ecu and wiring also and the torque is reduced though.

My friend thank you for the answer what did you mean by ecu?. I just changed the engine only, I replaced the 4000cc to 3000cc 8 cylinder., so the output power gone down as well, if I replace the defrench by using the 728 instaed the original one may the power of the care change?? I need help
