What is the Black box under the drivers seat under carriage?

There is a black box that holds two items one electrical one has a hose like fuel
and is located under the drivers seat undercarriage the plastic box itself is
broken

Part of the EVAP system. I would have to see it to say what the parts are. Probably a solenoid. I would replace the plastic cover.
