Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so a few days ago my truck starts revving up to
the 4000s when I try to take off in D.  It doesn't
want to move feels like I'm trying to pull a tractor
trailer so I put it 2nd and take right off.  I can cruise
in 2nd 35-40 at 3000 rpm.  So I tell my wife you can
make runs to the store in 2nd but don't go over 40.
This goes on for two days. Then I come she says
she been driving in D today just fine. So I hop in
and take off and nope its dragging and revving in D
so I shift it to 2nd take off get up to 40 shift it in D
rpms drop to 2000 like nornal and drive smooth the
rest of way home stopping and turning everything .
What the!? Pcm clicth?? My fluid level is good and
smooth red tint. ..confused? ??

I think your trans is on the way out. I would have a good trans shop take a look at it. A last ditch effort to get a few more miles out of it would be trying Lucas Transmission Fix.
