will a 1995 ARC Neon run a Final Gear Ratio 355 with better mpg?

Looking to make my engine last as long as possible. With Interstate Limits to 70 & 75 mph, would'nt it be best to lower the rpm's for this 2.0 DOHC Engine?

yes it will improve your MPG but its not going to change the longetivity of the engine. how many miles on it anyway?

with regular maintenance its got plenty of life left in it.
