Testing a PCM is pretty elaborate. You need the proper electronic tools and an OBD scanner; and not a cheap one. If this isn't something you've done before, leave it to the pros.

At a minimum you need a scanner that can do live data scanning, if you get data them you need to check each value shown with the sensor chart to match reading with actual values.
