You will have to remove the inside door panel and go from there.

I have removed the door panel and have taken out all but the window. It apparently is still attached to the window track, but i cannot see where. Do you know how to find it?

You follow the window track down to the bottom. Along the way towards the bottom will be a bolt that has to come out that holds the window in place. Then you can spread the track to the side a bit for the window to come out. It is usually easiest to get the window out when it is a little more than 1/2 down. There is a track on the bottom of the window you have to work the rollers out of also.
