How to remove side window glass to install window sweep

Trying to figure out how to remove glass from mechanism when it is riveted and not bolted to lowering/raising device. Old Dodge manual says I need special tool.

All you need to do is take a quarter inch drill and drill through the dimpled the end of the rivet.... all the way through. You can use a wooden or plastic stick to pop the two plastic pieces apart.
