wont start while in park. will start while in neutral

I bought this van. when I bought the previous owner said that the had replaced
the BCM (not sure if this is important). I drove it home, but the next day it
wouldn't start. I finally figured out that it would start while in neutral. I replaced
the Neutral safety switch and it started in park just fine. I drove it for a bit and
when I tried to start it again it would not start in park only  start neutral until it
cooled down.

Sounds like a bad connection at the neutral safety switch. Hope that helps! Jim
