13 corolla stereo problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Today my stereo on my 2013 Toyota Corolla S faded out
while driving. It will play for a few seconds or so when I
start the vehicle then fades out again and speakers are
making crackling noise. Anyone know what could be
wrong and how to fix?

Toyota does an exchange type thing to save a few bucks

Brian, took to few different places and found out head unit was just fine, amp was going bad overheating, thanks for answer
