My truck recently has been overheating and running hot! Is the thermostat causing this or something else?

There is water in the radiator and the
refill bottle I have antifreeze in
radiator so I don't know what's going
on with it!
I NEED SOME HELP!!! The radiator
had a small crack on top I patched it
so it's not leaking now but it still runs
hot on me! I just don't know what is
going on! HELP!!!

First,check your oil for water,it may be blowed head gasket or intake gasket,if they are good put a water pump on it.
