Engine oil leak on 2013 BMW 335i (cylinder#1 deformation?)

Asked by Guru9S7W99 Oct 20, 2021 at 07:11 PM about the 2013 BMW 3 Series 335i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I put my car in the BWM service center and they said there is 22% engine oil
leakage, which they are suspecting there is a deformation of cylinder #1 in the
engine (not from anything else). Have anyone ever experienced such defects?
I am just stunned that deformation of the cylinder can actually happen when the
vehicle has not been involved in an accident

I'm not suprised. BMWs aren't "all that and a bag of chips"! A guy at work has one and it's been nothing but trouble for him! Everything from wheel failure to turbo charger failure has happened and he's been stranded by the side of the road more than once! Trade it in!! Jim
