reliability of Volkswagon tiguan?

just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the Tiguans?  I am thinking of buying one, but i do not see many on the road.  makes me curious????

I owned a 2009 up until last year...very stable and reliable. It was just a bit pricey...but when compared to small SUVs on the market now, it's right in the middle price-wise. We see Tigs all over here in the PNW. The AWD system is top notch. My only wish was that VW had brought the TDI version to the US...that would be a game changer.
