1999 dodge dakota rt. Some heat but not hot enough. Someone from here sugguested to remove inlet and outlet hoses and run water through it to flush out whatever crap is stuck in it. Starting from inlet hose and then through the outlet. Now the freakig question. How the hell do u get the darn hoses off to flush? Cause it is on really good n thigThank your for ur help.

What kind of clamps does it have because you can take the hoses off at the heater core and just flush the heater core, that would be the hoses going from the engine to the firewall. There's also flush kits you can buy just about everywhere and then there's also the power flush at the garage.
I would leave those hoses alone. They are 13 years old and subject to damage. Same deal for the heater core. Damage either one and you have a truck parked until it's fixed. You might have to cut those hoses off. Might as well flush everything and install new hoses, new water pump and new thermostat.
if you damage those you've really done something wrong but then once you're there its to easy to bypass the heater core
