Why are these vans dying? why are you not doing a recall and fixing the problem?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello....I just purchased a 2013 Chrysler T&C. I had it 2 weeks and it wouldn't start. My husband charged the battery and it was fine for 4 days....then dead again. everyday it was dead within a few hours. It is at the dealership now and they have no clue what is wrong with it....but I feel that a 1 year old car with less than 40,000 miles on it should not have an issue. I need to know what the problem is!!!!

Have your husband perform a parasitic draw test. Here is a video if he has never heard of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1gijj03_0 This should allow you to pinpoint the problem which is killing your battery.
