Coolant leaks out the top of reservoir after driving

I  replaced  the  Radiator  and  water
pump  & ECU Computer  and let it
sit I drive a couple  times  a  month  
now after driving  to  the  doctors  
and  a few errands  when I park
water /coolant  leak out the
overflow  port on side of the  
reservoir  it smells  like  a  hot  
radiator  but the gauges all show  
below  220 Degrees I noticed  that  
the  coolant In the  reservoir  looked
a little  thicker  than  before  why is
this happening  should  I  sell it and
get another  used car since can't  
afford  a new one

Try replacing the radiator cap....that's usally the cause of that
