Spark plug removal and installation

I removed plug number 2 in my 4.7L went to
put new plug in and there was a donut shaped
object blocking the threads at the top of the
hole WTH

Start fresh code for crank sensor fixed it then 17 codes came up changed the ECM then 5 codes 4 injectors and cam sensor changed the cam first then I started on injectors and plugs pulled all plugs went to put in 2 and this donut was in the way
