Why is my 2013 Burning oil

Asked by pk0711 Jan 03, 2021 at 06:10 AM about the 2013 Kia Sorento LX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

At 123k, my car turned off, no oil light, nothing, just shut off
in the middle of a mountain pass - started back up with no
problem. Then the oil light flickered on then off. Checked
the oil and I had NO OIL! Last oil change was 7k miles prior.
I have made numerous cross country trips, including
hauling a full, uhaul trailer 5 years ago...never burned oil.
Has anyone pursued this to a class action suit yet? We
need to hold Kia accountable!!!! Please email me if you can
provide further input or assistance:
