Car won't completely start up

Recently my car has been giving me problems when I try
to start it. When I press my key in the ignition sometimes
the car does not fully turn on. I took it to the shop and
they said they couldn't find a problem with it but it is a
recurrent problem, any ideas of what it may be?

is this a key of remote start key ? if you plug the key fob in to start i would try replacing the battery's in your key fob and see if that works.
