How do I know a buyer is serious?

Asked by Bruce Nov 24, 2020 at 09:06 AM about the 2013 Ford Mustang GT Convertible RWD

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

All I can see when I get an offer is a username.  How do I know it's a real
person?  Whenever I get an offer without the buyer wanting to see the car first, I
am suspicious, like with the offer I received yesterday on my Mustang.
