wont start, but jumps easy, then in a short time shuts off

car ran fine 3 days later went to start, jumped easy, rlet it idle to recharge, 15
minutes later shutoff....

Sounds like either the battery or the alternator or related wiring has a problem. If you have the original battery it is probably time to replace it. Did you look to see if the alternator drive belt is still attached properly?
