2014 MKZ AWD-AWD disabled at 120km then cycles on and off

When travelling at 120km after about 40km AWD message comes up- AWD
disabled, then stays like that for a few km then cycles back on.

Sounds like you need to make a trip to your local Ford or Lincoln dealership. Our 2014 has never done anything like that.
