Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, so my I have a Kia Optima 2012 and it idc
smoking from under the hood. But it’s not
over heating, it still runs, I feel like I need to
get the spark plugs fixed on but that’s
different, the coolant is fine, the oil is new.
The smoke is not a heavy smoke it’s more
like a mist but it still smells like it’s burning.
HELP.

If you just had an oil change it's possible that a little bit of oil got spilled when they were refilling the engine. It's nothing to worry about and will burn off in a day or two. I literally had this happen to me yesterday when I did an oil change on one of my vehicles. It smoked for about an hour afterwards. Hope that helps! Jim
