going up a bridge, stalled and died. now it turns over but wont start. spark plug has no spark

car stalled cranks over but wont start, put fuel in the intake still nothing, removed timing
cover to see if belt was still turning. belt is turning, checked spark plug to see if I had fire.
NO spark.4.2l

No spark? Usually that means the crankshaft position sensor has gone out. It usually happens while you're driving too, out of nowhere. If you're lucky, after the engine cools a bit (20-30 minutes) it will start again and then shut off after it runs awhile. Another crippler on the 2.4 that I have ran into is the Camshaft position sensor. This will go while you're driving too. The one I worked on would start up and run for about 2 seconds and shut right off like clock work.
