2012 c250 not starting

My 2012 C250 with push start did not start. When I
pushed the start nothing happened, removed push start
button and tried starting with key and still nothing.  
Opened door and it said don't forget your key. Tried a
couple of more times with push start and then it started
right up. Battery was replaced about 8 months ago. Any
ideas.

Thank you for your response. I am guessing that is something to get fixed at the dealership
