2012 c250 wont start

Asked by Guru9LL172 Aug 29, 2021 at 04:33 PM about the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 250 Sport

The car battery is fine when i put my key into the ignition all the lights on the
dash and radio come on. But when i try to turn  the key to start the car, nothing
happens there is no cranking or the engine trying to turn over. is this a problem
with the ignition or the starter ? any help would be nice

See if there is voltage to the solenoid terminal in the starter when you turn the key to the crank position if not the ignition switch or the solenoid wire is bad.

Or the battery does not have a sufficient charge to crank the engine. Can the car be jump started from another car? If so, get a new battery.
