Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck has low oil pressure and dash says low oil pressure and to shut off
engine. Scan truck and code hits for bad oil pressure sensor/ sending unit. I
replaced the sending unit AND THE SCREEN. Drives fine for about five ten
mins until it heats up and then hits the code again and does the same thing.
Any ideas?

What oil is in it? I would start by changing the oil filter, if that doesn't help suspect the oil pump.

I believe it ended up being the oil filter although the oil was changed at the same time.

I ended up changing the oil pressure sensor/ sending unit and the small screen, did an oil change and works great now. No problems sense then.

I thought you'd already done that, no matter so long as it works. Good Job. More info for my memory bank Thanks.
