Question type: Maintenance & Repair

At acceleration my engine is misfiring,
something got wet during the last snowfall
I replaced my plugs plug wires and fuel
pump, it is running much better. However
every time I accelerate the motor misfires, I
can't pinpoint the error but is acting like
timing? Could you give some advice?

Timing would not cause a miss. If you go and get the vehicle scanned for codes it would tell you where to look. Hear are some things to look for in the mean time.....Possible causes; Faulty spark plug (s), Faulty ignition coil (s), Clogged or faulty fuel injector (s), Intake air leak, Fuel injectors harness is open or shorted, Fuel Injectors circuit poor electrical connection, Ignition coils harness is open or shorted, Ignition coils circuit poor electrical connection, Insufficient cylinders compression, Incorrect fuel pressure.
