Cylinders won't fire.

Asked by jcberry12 Feb 04, 2020 at 11:22 PM about the 2004 Dodge Stratus SE Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Water pump fragged and the timing belt jumped a few teeth. Replaced both
the pump and belt.  Cylinders 2 and 3 will not fire. Tried 3 coil packs with
same issue. Cyl compression on 1 thru 4 is 150 psi so the head gasket is not
an issue. Tried a boneyard PCM replacement and same problem exists. No
fire on 2 and 3. My mechanic is boggled also. He said that the timing belt
jumps the PCM will put the car in "limp" mode. Still cannot correct issue.
