my 2004 sx 2.0 exelerated for no reason,it would not stop. Put it in neutral and it was screaming at between 3500-4000 rpm. I finally got it pulled over ,but still screaming high rpms. Help!!!

Make sure the throttle cable or throttle body aren't stuck open, then look for a big vachum hose off, creating a leak. When the computer sees all the air coming in, it adds fuel, and you get a revving engine.
