Is a Ford Evxploer a good truck

My personal opinion is no. The Explorer is based on the Ranger platform, and they ALL have a tendency towards having a LOT of problems with the automatic transmissions, particularly so in the Explorer, due to the increased weight and engine output. If you can find one with a manual transmission, you are less likely to have as many issues.

@Beverly I worked in auto parts for 7 years or so, and have been a mechanic for a little over 12 years, and that is *exactly* the nickname I use, and have used as far back as I can remember.
