2004 durango 4wd issues

Asked by Oldnavy39 Nov 22, 2015 at 04:18 PM about the 2004 Dodge Durango SLT 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After our first snow last night, my wife left for work in her 2004 durango. While
traveling at around 10-15 mph, she stated that the traction control light kept
coming on/off. She was in 4low and unable to steer very well. We live in the
northern Indiana area and are very accustomed to driving in the wintery
conditions. When the vehicle was returned to AWD, it worked just fine.  We've
had the vehicle since 04 and have never encountered this problem at anytime
prior

1 Answer

The traction control light is telling you that conditions are very slippery and that the system is trying to keep your car going.
