Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 dodge charger and I just
started having these problem with my car
I've change the thermostat and it's still
doing the same so I call to the dealership
and explain to the guy that works on the
cars he say it's sounds like the heads and
that the dealership doesn't cover that
problem he suggested that I try blue devil
my brother had this problem with his
Chrysler and it work fine I'll rather try
spending 40 bucks vs 1700+

Have you tried anything else like flush the cooling system and is the cooling fan coming on ? If all else fails yes I would try a block seal. Have used bars leak and it worked great never tried the blue devil before quite sure it is just as good.

I had the same problem with my 07 2.7l. Bypassed my heater core and it is good. Since the heater core isn't leaking I have attempted to clean it out with water and compressed air. Haven't hooked it back up yet but plan to do so today. Will share the results.
