Battery light on

I was driving when battery light came on! Changed
battery less then a year ago! Rpms shot up and
loss acceleration couldn’t go over 60! Is this my
alternator? At the same time my door actuators
started clicking loud! Any thoughts! Oh and I
changed the door actuator about a month ago!

Might be the voltage regulator inside the alternator causing spikes. Would either bench test or get a meter on the voltage coming out of the alternator while car is on and when it is under load. You would have to bring up the throttle to do that part of the test. If you don't want to DIY the test take it off and bring it to the parts store. They test them usually for free. Good Luck!
