My car is consuming gas too fast what should I do?

My car is consuming gas too much what
could be the problem? It was fine but all of a
sudden it started doing that I changed the oil
once but the new filter accidentally got some
old oil inside of it is that the problem?

Perhaps it is time for a tune up and filter change. The oil is not an issue.
