2012 Jeep Battery is DRAINING...

Asked by Guru9P9N8B Jun 07, 2022 at 06:52 PM about the 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, I had my jeep towed 4 times since 12/2021. The battery, the alternator
and other tasks were done at the shop/dealership. When I attempt to use
my fob, the fob will not unlock the doors. When I look through the car
window on the driver's side, I see a red dot on the dash which is lit up.
When I put my key in to make an attempt to turn the SUV on, it does nothing
and the key fob will not release. Please advise, Thx.

Sounds more like a security system issue, not a battery, it might just need a reflash but only the dealer can say for sure.
