My heater core is leaking into my passenger
floor could this cause it to overheat?

Yes it would cause it to overheat, your running low on coolant. Heater core is part of the cooling system.

Ok because I seen a little bit of coolant on my passenger floor and i see the coolant circulate through the front so I know it's,not the radiator thermostat or water pump

Keep the coolant level full until you can get the heater core replaced. Do not let the engine get hot, it would cause you a lot more grief and money to fix.

I just parked it till I go and buy a heater core I'm thinking about getting the water pump and belt changed as well

Getting the timing belt changed out, and the water pump changed are good, great preventive measures. The timing belt is crucial to be done correctly. Make sure you have someone who knows what there doing.
