What could cause a small vacuum leak

Unfortunately right before I went to sell my deceased fathers 2010 mercury Milan the
check engine light came on, according to dealer because of a very small vacuum leak,
anyone know what could cause this

scottykilmer.com has a great vid on how to locate vacuum leaks. also, make sure your gas cap is tight.

Thanks, it doesn't have a gas cap actually but doesn't look like it's supposed to. I read that some models do not have gas caps but not sure as I just received this car and haven't had much time to look into it
