My 2012 Chevy impala would not
crank I turn the key it sounds like the
starter out l replace the
starter,3months ago it was working
fine,But now same issue I tried
tapping and connecting the wires
stay in that thing and now my dash is
saying engine hit/AC off

It sounds like a bad starter again, Do this get to the wires on the starter, use a short piece of wire to jumper the starter by jumping from the large battery stud to the smaller stud to the right it is marked with an "S" if it does nothing return it for warranty. You will disconnect the battery before you change the starter and when you reconnect it the dash issue should have resolved itself. I hope this helps, take care.

Thanks had just got it towed to the house and replacing the starter in the morning hope that’s all it is,thanks a lot Mike
