2012 Chevy Malibu Blower Fan

I own a 2012 Chevy Malibu, the Fan works periodically. When it doesn't work if I hit the bottom of the dashboard the fan will work again sometimes for a few days sometimes a day. I then punch the side again sometimes once sometimes many times, has anyone else had this issue. When I brought it in I was told the blower fan was fine. It also happened to be working at time, a day later same issue. Before I break my hand does anyone have similar problems

Just to add, sometimes the motor brushes can cause problems. The blower motor might go on or off with vibration or hitting a bump. Check voltage and ground at blower motor when problem is ongoing, if both good have to look at blower motor. Just my opinion.
