Crank but no start

Died while driving thought it was out of gas,
put gas in, cranks but won't start! Had it
towed home, now dead battery

Check your distributor and your fuel lines. Its either no spark or no fuel. My cam posisitioning sensor went out. Same symtoms, which is inside the distributor..hope it helps. Jim Hillemann

First check to make sure all fuses are good. Once you've charged the battery the next things to check for are fuel and spark. Pull a spark plug to confirm its dry, then try starting it, pull that same spark plug and see if it's now wet. If so you have fuel but probably no spark, if it's still dry suspect the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump itself but there are alot of sensors in new cars, some that can fail and cause a no- start

My 2008 Sebring limited did same thing., but no cranking or starting. Took it to dealer twice. Second time they said they found the ignition run/start wire to ABS module laying across the low pressure A/C line causing circuit to short
