Secondary sensor replacement leaking

Asked by Mandee Nov 22, 2020 at 03:31 PM about the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze Eco Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Bought a new secondary temp sensor for my 2012
Chevy Cruze put it in and it won’t stop leaking. Take
it out and put the old one back in it stops. How do I
get the new one to stop leaking? We’ve pushed it in
as much as we can but seems it’s not in all the way

Try an AC Delco sensor. GMs don't like aftermarket coolant temperature sensors. Hope that helps! Jim
