power washed 1999 seabring engin now have no power to anything, will not start

Power washed under the hood. Now have no power to anything. Open door light on dash very faint, same with floor lights.Try to start car, nothing. charged battery, cleaned terminals on battery, still nothing.

What do you mean dry everything out? Checked computer plugs all dry, cleaned all battery leads. Fuse box in engine compartment dry inside. What else?

Not everything is dry apparently. Keep looking. How about all the coils and sparkplugs? There are numerous sensors on the engine and there are fuel injectors and all of them have wiring going to them. Water in any of those connections can prevent the engine from starting.

Disconnect the battery leave the hood open and let it dry out, if your have an air compressor you can speed up the process by blowing it out

Car has 2.5L engine. Took leaf blower and blew out engine compartment. This was washed almost two (2) weeks ago. Still very little voltage getting to ignition or anything else.

Get a multimeter and check the battery voltage and record it, then take the black probe (leave the red probe on the battery positive terminal) on the Multimeter and touch it to the engine and record voltage do the same with touching it to the frame and the body and record those voltages. Ideally the voltages should be the same but no more than .1 or maybe .2 volt difference...If it's off by more than that you have a bad ground, Now put the red probe on the negitive terminal and then touch the black probe to the engine and then body or frame...if there is anything more than .05v you have a short to ground..let me know what you find i have more tests that you can do to help pinpoint the issue

Checked voltage from battery to all kind of places on the car. Battery charger showing full charge. Tried jump start battery to battery, nothing. Jumped + side battery to battery, - side battery to engine. Car started. Jumped - side of car battery to engine car fired right up. At the start, I said I had cleaned battery terminals, the - side had a pressed on connector. So after my tests, I cut off that connector and replaced it. Now everything is working fine !! Cable went bad inside that pressed connector, that was the whole problem.
