Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've been told I need Iridium spark plugs (super pricey) then another shop said
Platinum.  Which is it and does it really matter?
Thanks

I would use NGK double platinum. They are reasonably priced and should last 100,000 miles. Just be glad you only have 6 to replace, my Dodge Ram 5.7 Hemi has 16 of the damn things.
