Impreza Engine Swap

I was wondering if it is possible to swap the 2008 Subaru Impreza Outback
Sport engine with the 2008 WRX. Obviously it would have to be manual to
manual or automatic to automatic. Would the engine mounts line up? Would the
transmission needs to be swapped also?
