Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently, the car would not run, so we replace the distributor, spark plugs,
wires and air cleaner. The car starts right up, idles fine and drives fine.
However, when you come to a stop the car idles rough. We scanned the
engine and got the readings of P0301, P0302, P0303 and P0306 which
means misfire in cylinders 1,2,3 and 6. We then removed the Idle air Control
(IAC) value and cleaned the carbon off. the engine still seems to have a slight
miss when stopped at a light or stop sign. does anyone have any
suggestions?

We have the same issue with ours and were told the computer is failing. Not the best conclusion. Sorry

Sounds like sounds like you got more than that, those codes I believe are something like 0_2 sensor, and a knock. Sensor ,or 2,, and the others ,??? Have you called any auto parts stores to diagnose your codes,??

Margaret, Thanks for your answer. Will have to get a more precise diagnosis. Kpzs, I have not spoken with an auto parts store, but will. The codes came from a Haynes repair book and were the same on the scanner we used. We will check out the O2 sensor.
