Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When should I replace the timing chain on my 2001 Chrysler Sebring conv. with
the 2.7 engine?

Honestly Chrysler never set a change mileage on the timing chain. Belts stretch and wear, chains do not. How many miles are on the car?

If the chain rattles a lot then change it along with the guides etc but if it is quiet leave it alone.

I have a 2001chrysler Sebring convertible with a 2.7l engine the timing chain broke will I have to replace the engine
