Transmission quits pulling after a couple minutes

It will work when it first cranks but after a couple minutes it
quits pulling

Could be solenoids but I have a bad feeling the transmission is going kaput. A good transmission shop can do stand alone testing and find out if it’s solenoids or deeper inside.

Brenda, this doesn't help you much, no, but the Rendezvous is listed in top 5 of used mini vans to not buy. For a car that old, there is probably a reason why there is tran issue. Other than that, I would check out the transmission position sensor. good luck
