04 Rendezvous Transmission Replaced - still jerking between gears

Asked by Gooker Feb 12, 2016 at 06:11 AM about the Buick Rendezvous

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Randal: Our Rendezvous was slipping and jerking and had a service
engine light. The code indicated transmission. Our mechanic tried changing
the tranny fluid, but it still was slipping and sluggish. They put in a new
tranny and still had same issues. That new tranny was still under warranty
and now we are on tranny replace #2, and still...it's sluggish, jerky when
accelerating and gears slipping. Any advice??

Could still be in the trany make sure you have a new torque converter installed with new trany, also make sure your engine is not causing some of this, hesitation, miss, etc.
