Is the car Worth buying if it won't start.
Maybe depends on the price. It doesn't necessarily mean your motor is blown.
It is a gamble. Only pay what it is worth based on a worst case scenario.
The car is 15 years old. Without hearing it run there could be a multitude of things wrong with it! Engine problems, transmission problems, electrical problems, etc., etc., etc! Personally I wouldn't buy it until the seller got it running. Then you can test drive it and make an educated guess. Right now you're in the dark. Not a good place to be!! HTH. -Jim
If it won't start, walk away.
